Remembering the first portrayal of the dumpling eater in the frescos of the chapel of Hocheppan, and subsequently bound by tradition, come and enjoy our variety of home made and regional delicacies from dumpling dishes to Hocheppan speck in our the hallmark castle restaurant.
The Hocheppan speck (a local variation of bacon) is partly sourced from our own pig breeding, refined by our own recipes using herbs from the castle garden. In the spring and autumn there is a special treat on Sundays when we barbecue a hog roast filled with aromatic castle herbs and minced pork.
